Who is responsible for your data. Jourfest, Hlm la Prairie, 30120 Le Vigan, France, controls the personal data collected through . For privacy questions, email info@jourfest.com or use the form at the bottom of the Contact Us page.
What we collect. When you order, we collect your name, delivery address, email, phone number, and the details of what you bought. We receive confirmation from the payment provider that a payment was made, but not your full card details. If you contact us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply. When you browse, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited; this is used to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
Why we use it, and on what basis. Order data is used to perform the contract with you — preparing the parcel, handing it to the carrier, handling returns, and customer service. This is necessary for the performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Technical and browsing data is used for our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effect. If you sign up for marketing emails, we use your address on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
Who we share it with. Delivery details go to the carrier fulfilling the order (Colissimo, Chronopost, or Colis Privé). Payment information goes to the provider processing the transaction (card acquirer or PayPal). IT providers for hosting and email may access data only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by French accounting and tax rules. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. Browsing data is kept for a shorter period appropriate to the analytics tool in use.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you can access, correct, erase, restrict, object to certain processing, and receive a portable copy of your data. You can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Write to info@jourfest.com; we respond within one month, though we may extend that period for complex requests. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).
California residents. If you are a California resident, you can ask what categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties we share with. You can also request deletion and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, contact info@jourfest.com; we verify using the email associated with your order or inquiry.
Cookies. We use cookies necessary for the site to function, such as keeping items in your basket and remembering your session. If we use analytics cookies, we ask for consent where required before setting them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then stop working.
