Terms of service

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms govern your use of  and any order you place through it. The site is operated by Jourfest, Hlm la Prairie, 30120 Le Vigan, France. By browsing the site or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have as a consumer under French law. Where a provision here conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection rule, the rule prevails.

1. Orders and how a contract is formed

An order is an offer to buy. A contract between you and Jourfest is formed when we send the order confirmation email, not at the moment you click to pay. Before that point we may decline an order — for example if the item is no longer available, if the delivery address is outside mainland France, or if a payment could not be verified.

If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we refund the amount in full to the original payment method.

If a price on the site is clearly wrong — a decimal point in the wrong place, a fraction of the real price — we may contact you before dispatch. You can then accept the corrected price or cancel, and if you cancel you receive a full refund. We do not dispatch an order at a price you have not agreed to.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe each item as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions, and colour where relevant. Screens render colour differently, so a shade may look slightly different in person than on your display. That is not by itself a defect.

Our range is deliberately short and changes from time to time. Availability shown on the site reflects stock at the moment you view it, but an item can sell out between your visit and your order. If that happens with an order already confirmed, we will tell you and refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include French VAT where applicable. Shipping to mainland France is free, so the figure at checkout is the total you pay.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of order. Card details are handled by the payment provider; we do not store your full card number. The Payment Policy page sets out the detail.

4. Delivery

We deliver to mainland France only. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days, and the carrier then delivers within 3–5 business days. The Shipping Policy page explains carriers, tracking, and what happens if a parcel is delayed. Delivery times are estimates based on the carrier's normal service; they are not a guaranteed date, and a delay in transit does not by itself entitle you to cancel a dispatched order outside the withdrawal period described below.

Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone at your address, take physical delivery.

5. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive an item to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. This is your statutory right of withdrawal (droit de rétractation) under French consumer law. The Returns & Refunds Policy page explains how to exercise it, where to send the item, and the refund timeline. Returns are free and there is no restocking fee.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your specification or clearly personalised, or to sealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed.

6. Legal guarantees

Separately from the 14-day withdrawal right, items you buy from us carry the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) and the guarantee against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés) under French law. These guarantees apply whether or not you have already used the withdrawal right, and they are not limited to 14 days.

If an item is not as described, does not work as it should, or has a defect that was not apparent at delivery, contact us at info@jourfest.com with your order details and, where possible, a photo. Depending on the situation, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction, or a refund. We will tell you which remedy applies once we have looked at the item. Sending an item back under a legal guarantee is at our cost where the guarantee applies.

7. Using the site

You may browse the site and place orders for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, scrape it at scale, place automated or fraudulent orders, or use it in a way that breaches applicable law.

We may suspend or cancel an order, and close an account, where we have reasonable grounds to believe an order is fraudulent or the site is being misused. Where an order is cancelled for that reason and payment was taken, we refund it.

8. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, layout, and design on  belong to Jourfest or are used with permission. You may share links to the site and print pages for your own reference. Reproducing the content for commercial use, or presenting it as your own, requires our written permission.

9. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for the site and for the orders we fulfil, within the limits set by French law. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for loss caused by events outside our control — for example a carrier strike, severe weather, or a failure of a payment provider's systems. Where such an event affects an order, we will tell you and work out a solution with you.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that French law does not allow us to exclude.

10. Your personal data

We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights under the GDPR.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the way we operate changes, or when the law requires it. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site when the contract is formed. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law.

If something goes wrong, write to info@jourfest.com or call +33 6 22 99 81 13, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (CET), and give us a chance to put it right. Most issues are settled that way.

If we cannot resolve it between us, and you are a consumer, you may have recourse to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation). We will give you the details of the mediator available to you on request, and they are also provided with your order confirmation. Using a mediator is free for you. You are not obliged to use one, and you keep the right to bring the matter before the competent court. As a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live or where the contract was formed.
